Our Founding Story
Ase Perfumes was born from a quiet alignment of friendship, of taste, and of shared experience.
Founded by five individuals brought together in the United Arab Emirates, the brand reflects nearly a decade of living at the intersection of cultures, where identity is layered and expression is intentional. Our origins span continents: Khadidja Ide, of Haitian and Burkinabé heritage; John Kamanji, from Congo; Sam Odoi, from Uganda; and Dola, from Egypt and a silent partner from Congo.
Each of us was raised in cultures where community is instinctive and elegance is inherent, never overstated but always understood.
Fragrance, for us, has always been more than scent.
It is a trace of presence.
A signature perfume can evoke someone instantly, or return you to a moment with striking clarity. It does not need to be loud to be lasting. Its power lies in what remains subtle, familiar, unforgettable.
